Hi Bill-
I haven't been taking part in these discussions because at the moment my Emailer is on hold in an External HD while I use my granddaughters G4 and she would rather have Mail. So Mail has been fine so far but I do miss my Emailer and hope, as soon as I can get funding, I can get my own G5, Tiger, et al and then get back to Emailer. Mail isn't too bad but I really prefer Emailer except I wish someone could fix the font problem. It is too small for my aging eyes. I also think the Search routine is slow compared to Mail. So, sigh! I await the day I can get back to Emailer. Is it nostalgia or is there really that big a difference between Emailer and others like Mail, Entourage, etc.?

In the meantime I am saving all these emails.

regards,
doug

Wait.... You forgot Entourage..... Microsoft Entourage.

If everyone doesn't have to pay Microsoft for the program, won't this be a good choice to replace eMailer? I thought the same group of software
engineers went from Claris to MS for this Entourage product (after
Microsoft planned termination of eMailer)?

Entourage is about the only mail application I =haven't= looked at, and
none of them are as nicely done as [EMAIL PROTECTED], thank you very much. Besides, it isn't dead =yet= (I'm using it under Classic with 10.2.8), and some of
the better qualified folks here are working on developing an updated OS
X-savvy version which contains all the present features but doesn't need
Classic.
