Is it the "Reading 1 of 0" error? You may need to send you mailbox a message as the AOL connection now get confused if there are no messages in the mailbox. In that case if it does not find any inbound messages, you will usually not be able to send outbound messages on the same connection. I created a solution for the "Reading 1 of 0" error that uses a Mail Action and some schedules plus a message that get resent on another schedule and I have seldom any problem with AOL these days but I am on broadband.
