No but when Panther sleeps and I wake it, emailer can't connect so I have 
to restart Classic.

My guess is that the Intel version will be Apple's excuse to stop 
supporting OS9. Makes sense to me.

The project seems to have stalled. Don seems more interested in building 
a web site to get feedback on the project than to write the actual 
software.
I'd personally be happy if he simply produced an exact copy of emailer to 
run native in OSX.

Why? It won't affect you unless you buy a brand new Mac and I personally 
never buy a model that's less than 12 months old, for obvious reasons.
