I am in a similar boat, wanting to wait. However, the classic issue confuses things. I may keep my powerbook a few more months, get a mini mac, and one G5 dual core, then wait out the emailer situation. (I really don't want to switch!) I don't like the failure rate on Titanium Powerbooks, which are the last to be able to boot into 9, although I may have to give that up, so may end up getting an end of the line 17" powerbook when the Mactel's start hitting the street.
