I bought a bunch of ebay items, recently, but was travelling. I changed 
the subject line start of those I asked them to take a check to "asked", 
and those I sent a check to to "paid".  

I often get emails with no subject. I make it a useful subject. etc. No 
scripts, nothing hard, just type in the subject line. ;-)

I don't consider this a "non-important", or trival function, it is a 
requirement of any email program I would use.



The trouble with ignorance is that it picks up confidence as it goes 
along.
