I have several years' worth of email in my CE database. I have moved on to Apple Mail (grumbling and grousing all the way, but definitely away from CE) a year ago.

There is now the prospect of Classic not being available on future machines - even on my wife's Mini today. I'd like to still be able to refer back to the old email that is in the CE database, even without being able to run CE. What are my options?

I tried printing a few emails to file. They emerged with a .ps extension. Preview churned for while before converting one to .pdf. Then I had to save it as a .pdf. This is OK as a minimum. Perhaps there is a script that could print all my emails to .ps files in folders that match the folders in the database in CE?

But I would prefer to save the emails as text so that I can cut and paste old material if necessary. Is that a possibility? - without copying and pasting each one. - or perhaps a script could do that copying and pasting while I sleep sometime?

(I don't have the time to program anymore or I suppose I would try to figure out some scripts. So I am asking for help in this area from anyone who knows how or what is available)

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Graham
