>Is anyone else having similar problems? Any solutions/suggestions? Classic runs for days without crashing. I am running a similar system. Using an Asante bridge box. Using a 23 inch Apple Cinema display in mirror mode with the PBook closed. Classic is running all the time (Emailer and one other classic app). However, I have sleep slider (no checkbox in 10.4.6) set to 5 minutes in the Classic preference pane. Not sure that is really sleeps Classic. Reading the fine print in the Advanced tab makes me think that if a Classic application is active/open it will not go to sleep. My system does sleep a lot - as it runs 24/7. When I ever I leave for a while, I select sleep from the Apple menu and can hear external FW drives and PBook hard drive spin down. So, yes are NOT being unrealistic in expecting Classic to run better. There are just three non-apple control panels in Classic: Kensington MouseWorks, Silverlining Pro, and ATM (not Delux).
