OOOH... I found one big downside to using Basilisk or any other emulator. Clicking on URLs in an email won't open your default OS X browser. There is nothing stopping someone from putting a browser of their choice into their emulator setup and using it. But the OS 9 and earlier browser choices aren't up to par with the OS X choices.
On the Basilisk screen redraw issue, it is controlled by a preference setting. I'm currently playing with it to get the best trade off between low lag time and low blockiness (if you set it to a zero redraw lag, everything on the screen starts to redraw in blocks which I actually found more annoying then the lag time to typing and moving the mouse, which are really the only place you notice the lag.) BTW: if anyone has a copy of Codewarrior that can compile for OS 9 *AND* OS X, I'd like to chat with you. Drop me a line. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
