The current version of iCab, 3.0, is not 68k compatible. Here's something
from iCab's News/Info page:

"iCab 2.9.8 is the previous version of iCab and has only limited support
for CSS. Therefore you may encounter layout issues on some web pages
which require full CSS support. But if you're still using a Mac with 68K
processor or a MacOS release olders than 8.5, iCab 2.9.8 is your only
choice, because these old systems don't support Unicode which is required
for iCab 3.0."

That older version is still available from iCab's download site, where
you'll also find the latest beta (382) of version 3.0: <http://
www.icab.de/dl.php>
