I went to Outlook and it assumed I want to use it instead of EMailer.
It even had EMailer checked off as the email client I wanted to
replace. It then invited me to import everything from Emailer, with a
warning if there was a lot of data there it would take a long time.

If I do that import, won't that keep me from having my mail go to Emailer?

They said in their reply that you can download it directly using Outlook
or Thunderbird. So the answer is likely, yes, you can download it
directly using Emailer.

Get the settings for making Outlook work and post them here, and we can
translate that into Emailer settings.
