Thanks for the good story, Chris. You probably know already that I have a WallStreet which will boot in 10.2.8 to do the only essential X job I've needed so far, doing my taxes. I then print the taxes to pdf and email them to my Kanga, which prints them out on my SCSI printer. The recent uptick in Digest traffic is a bit of fun. Good group. Incidentally, I got a really good battery for my Kanga recently from "Batteries Plus." It's giving me more than I expected, about three hours. So I'd trust them for replacement batteries for other antiques. I'd had a couple of bad experiences from other vendors in the past.
