Martin, Thanks for responding. It is only when I see my own emails coming back with > in front and color changed to blue, that I see my own spelling mistakes. :-) ( ..eat a little tooooo much... instead of 'to'.)
An email program is always a nasty thing for backups, because all of the messages are in only 1 of 2 files. So you can either backup the whole lot, or you need a way to backup individual messages. Some mail packages have special pieces of software (archiving agents) that make selective backups to tape or whatever medium. I solve this problem by using the "Emailer Archive". That copies my messages onto a FileMaker database, and it can run while Emailer is OPEN. Just a suggestion... Marc PS: Back to off-topic :- In European companies Thanksgiving is when all Americans get airbone and eat Turkey; while the pope hasn't quite understood and went looking for Turkey himself in the opposite direction. We say thanks everyday for not having certain political and religious lies and no leaders that invade countries because they talked to god last night. Yet every time I walk into my bank and tell them that i have talked to god and he told me it is OK for me to raise a weapon and ask for the money on the vault, they dont believe me. Yet, some am-bush gets away with it, and we've had a 30 min. documentary on TV where they show the building in The Netherlands where Bush's grandfather held office as a key banker for Nazi Germany. They showed the hidden cellar with vaults. Up till then I didn't even know they had Dutch roots. Some of my very best friends are Americans, and I hate it to see that the people are lied to an cheaten just as under Nixon, and kept asleep with made up new stories about god, for one purpose: look at anything you want but not at what the gang is doing.
