I recently started having problems myself. I use Mac OS 9.2. I connect via dial-up at home but on the road, more and more hotels have wireless. I have an Airport card installed and until recently have had no problems. the last 2 hotels, both using same wi-fi service, I get great signal but just cannot connect (and the customer care folks are no help at all with Mac users). Then I was in the airport and tried their wi-fi free service...same problem. I am starting to worry that something is out of whack...so I just upgraded my Airport application version to to version 2.0.4.....the version I have been using was 1.something....I am hoping this will resolve my problems but won't know for sure until I am on the road again.
