They are image files. I trash them on sight. Send the following to your

Shortly after I got my dear old Mum on-line with a Mac Mini, a "friend" 
sent her over 5 MB of image files. This exceeded her server's "in box" 
limit and effectively shut down her email. It took me a while to figure 
out how to log on to her web mail server and delete the unwanted files. 
It wasn't funny.

You must NOT send image files to people who aren't expecting them. They 
are likely to believe it's spam when they see an attachment and could 
reject it as junk. In some cases (e.g. Assoles On Line) this can result 
in blacklisting.

You must NOT send large image files, period. If you want someone to have 
an image it's best to upload it to your web server then send the download 
link to your friends. If you don't have a web server (why not? - only £22 
a year) then you can use one of the free ones like:
