Hi All: Suddenly people are forwarding me .jfif files. Assuming they were image files (they always come in a bunch, as if embedded in the original email), I originally tried opening them into Preview but couldn't. Double-clicking opened them into Real Player - really dumb app to use to look at 10 pictures of babies and dogs (or stupid vehicle tricks) since I had to open each individually. (In Preview you can browse a bunch of files at a time ...)
So, I opened Get Info on one of the files and designated Preview to Open. Double clicking on the file then successfully resulted in the image opening in Preview. Yea! However, when I tried to "Change All" in Get Info, the pull down "Open" menu automatically changed from Preview back to Real Player, so I cannot make a bulk change. Does anyone know what it going on here? Thanks for any info!
