Mary Lou,

I do not understand how a PC thumb drive could be "incompatible" on a
MAC, unless it has been formatted on a PC in a "PC-Only" format such as
NTFS.
I have purchased three different thumb drives at different times, and so
far as I know, none of them were advertised as being "PC Only" or "MAC
Only". All three of them work equally well on my work PC running WinXP,
and on my home computers (one running OS8.6, one running OS9.2).

If you take the thumb drive and insert it in a USB jack on your MAC, what
happens?
Can you initialize (erase) it there? If so, you should be given an option
to format for a PC.
Also, if the device has been initialized/formatted on a PC, you should
have the option to specify FAT format, which is usable on a MAC.

Two of the three thumb drives that I have purchased have been Kensington
Data Traveler types. They have a good guarantee, and are made well.

Regards,
Joe Getchel
