You will find this option under SETUp-ACCOUNTS-'youraccount'-OPTIONS.

It is called "Leave messages on server for xxx days".

When disables, your CE gets whatever mail there is.

When you set this to 3 days, then always the latest 3 days of mail will
stay available on your ISP's server for use by your second computer with
another CE, or for use by a WEBmail interface whenever you spend all
these days at numerous hotels ... ;-)

I suggest you think a bit about the effect of several combinations,
before changing anything.

If you have 2 mail clients accessing 1 mailbox, you sometimes end up with
more duplicate mail than otherwise. Another reason for duplicate mail is
your ISP who may from time to time re-emit a queue of email that they
kept up while they were bringing down or upgrading a machine for
maintenance, or to stop a rain of spam or other good reasons such as an
error by their people. In those cases they sometimes play on the safe
side such as we do ourselves and start re-issuing mail starting with mail
from -6hrs or -24hrs.

A nice weekend to all of you.

Marc
