Greetings all.

I'm having a few minor problems with Claris Emailer, so I'll just post
the first one now. I'm using 2.0v3 on OS X 10.4.9 with Baton Mail for
sending authentication.

I have several Mail Actions (30+) set up, which serve to auto-sort my
messages into the correct folder (I have about 60) and also perform some
spam filtering. I typically retrieve messages from all of my 8 or 9
accounts at regular intervals using a Schedule.

I noticed earlier this year that Emailer would sometimes retrieve a
message but not display it. I'd see it briefly in the Connection Status
bar, but it wouldn't show up in any folder. I later realized that it
would show up after I quit and restarted Emailer, or after my Schedule
picked up some other message. Watching the "Temp Incoming" folder on
starting Emailer (and running the startup Schedule), I realized that all
incoming messages from the first account would be placed there, then when
the second account was accessed it would add those as well and then
process/remove the set from the first account, and then go to the third
account, put messages retrieved from there in Temp Incoming and
process/remove those from the second account, etc. The messages
retrieved from whatever account was the last to have available messages
don't show up. This means that I can rarely access all messages
retrieved *unless* I immediately quit and restart Emailer, since it
immediately processes everything in Temp Incoming on start up.

I'm wondering how long this has been going on. I'd occasionally have
someone tell me they'd sent me a message which I had not seen, and then
it'd mysteriously show up in Emailer even though I had checked the web
interface for that account and seen nothing come in during that time.

I'd like to fix this if possible. I'm wondering if it's due to a mistake
in one of the Mail Actions I've set up. I've rebuilt/compacted my mail
database and index, and it still occurs. It's a problem with a simple
work-around, but I'd like to save myself the effort of monitoring Temp
Incoming and quitting and restarting every time I see a message ignored.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or explanations offered.

Thanks all.
