Thanks for reminding me (us) of this fanastically useful fix, Peter. I mainly use my laptop to email (with CE), and just had to reinstall its System. I had forgotten about duplicating that preference. And realized while I was at it that I ought to change it on my desktop too for those rare times that I use it to pick up mail. But I have not been able to make either the Temp Incoming nor the Claris folders appear in the Privacy Window after using the dial box to browse to them, on either machine! (CE has been quit during these attempts.) Are they there anyway - invisible because Classic apps - or is it something else? On OS 10.4.11 on both machines. Thanks for any tips!
