The client is planning to replace/modernize an old Visual Basic predictive modeling application into a new .NET application (using C# as the language). It will require reverse engineering VB code (using a decompiler) and interfacing with an existing Java application. *Therefore Java experience and experience with Visual Basic decompilers is a plus.** ** * The application is called HRA - Health Risk Assessment, and it basically asks a series of lifestyle and health questions (8 screens) to an employee subscribed to company health insurance plan and then assesses their risk to medical conditions (obsesity, lung cancer, etc). It then formulates an action plan to proactively address high risk conditions....10-week weight loss program, steps to quitting smoking....they call it high-intensity coaching programs.
