Wow, that answers a lot.. is there any wat the auto-shutdown feature
could be re-enabled at the time the linux will start shutting down?

I think in /etc/rc.d or somewhere you can setup different commants to
be executed in various situations. I played with some in SuSe.

Maybe if we assigned that ctrl-atl-del will cause RT to stop (in case
EMC is shut down), reenable power management and shut the computer
down...
