i just installed the newest ubuntu studio which apparently has a realtime kernel already in it... would this work with EMC as far as realtime kernel requirements? i'm not exactly sure how they did the realtime kernel in this release i haven't got that far into the research yet.. OH.. one big gotcha, it's an AMD 64 bit chippy. i read that emc will be ready for 64 bit in the upcoming release?
