I can disable that on the next build. It should not affect the number of processors detected however, which is objective #1. >> Take a look in the ACPI/power management sections. If you do a diff on the two configs, there will likely be a lot of noise due to differences in selected drivers/filesystems/etc. I don't recall seeing how you started making this config. Did you take the stock EMC2 RT config and "make oldconfig", start from defaults, "make oldconfig" with the stock Ubuntu kernel ... ? << I believe I have those settings correct.
