I'd like to have a small LCD and some pushbuttons specifically designed
for controlling the machine (using a QWERTY keyboard to control a CNC
machine seems like the wrong way to do things). A graphical display on
another machine would be nice as well-- I've seen notes about sending
stuff over ethernet, but it's not clear to me if the current version
supports this or not.

I know you're adapting an existing product, but I'd rather see an I/O
board made specifically for the Beagleboard.
