I think your message was a good one, thank you. I have been on the list for a while and I am beginning to ignore the issues that seem to come up endlessly. It's good that replies come from people that aren't normally active on this list. In my opinion, we don't usually get that much traffic, so I don't think there is any reason for anybody not to speak their CNC mind (,but it is not for me to say). Another point, EMC2 is a complex system that requires a lot of time to get to know. For those that want to get a cheap CNC together simply and quickly, copy a well established stepper system. If you want to get creative, expect to be lost and confused in the copious documentation for a while, with time and experimentation, it should start to make some sense. I view open source software like an oasis in the desert, it could save your life, or the water could be poisonous and kill you, it just is what is is. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list Emc-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
