Sorry, I gave a warning a long time ago, and then decided when to do
it based on discussions in irc.

It sounds like you should merge pncconf into 2.5 and then 2.5 into
master.  You should not merge directly into master and then try to
also put it in 2.5.  That will make future merges difficult.

If you have any doubts please ask for help before you do it!  We
have a very clean setup with 2.4/2.5/master right now based on the
'merging upwards' workflow (man gitworkflows).

Yes there are sure a lot of changes since 2.4.6.  I think several are
quite important.  It's up to jepler when to release 2.4.7.

Yeah, merging glade files is definitely hard.  You should do
everything you can to avoid having any merge conflict in the glade
file.
