I've tried to document the high-level view of the current information flow of "anything tool" within EMC - I need to understand it fully before I address it.
I would appreciate corrections/addenda wrt to the current status, as well as any suggestions for improvements. http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?ToolInformationFlow Standing back from it a bit, I notice that this is a hell of a lot of (hopefully) synchronized copies for a single object (2 x _setup.tool_table; emcStatus in 3 processes, the UI Python tool_table object, and the external tooltable file). -m ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
