I have a bunch of configs files on my web server. For some crazy
reason, apache2 will not serve the .var files, I get a 500 server error.

Anybody know what this is about? I'm guessing there is a config file
somewhere that is preventing it. Here's the apache2 error log :

[Mon Aug 01 11:08:09 2011] [error] [client 10.10.1.20] Syntax error in
type map, no ':' in /home/httpd/html/codes/minimill/univpwm.var for
header 5161\t0.000000\n, referer: http://pico-systems.com/codes/minimill/

It looks sort of like apache is trying to actually interpret the file as
a command,
rather than just send it as text.

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer!

Jon
