I think the v2.5.0-pre2 tag will do what you want. Since that tag there have been two commits to the 2.5 branch that touch .lyx files: both were merges from 2.4, and both had matching commits to the matching .txt files. (And both were by John Thornton.) Ok, i'll remove the lyx files from 2.5.
