You can pull a PREEMPT_RT patched version of EMC 2.4.4 from the git
archive referenced at http://www.bitmuster.org/projects/emc.html

I've got crude notes/instructions for building this on a stock Debian
Wheezy install in the wiki:

latency test and linuxcnc (not talking to real hardware yet).

John Morris and I are working on getting the original PREEMPT_RT patch
set from http://bu3sch.de/patches/emc-linux-rt to apply cleanly to a
HEAD version of linuxcnc, to isolate work on PREEMPT_RT from the other
stuff the bitmuster folks are working on (adding shared memory
communications to HAL and more posixness to the realtime api).
