Has anyone tried old source this?
It was so long ago, now we have ENC624J600 so maybe it is a place to start a new kind of I/O to replace parallel port. I like Mesa company they gave a lot to EMC2, but for a future a would go to something like open hardware, Arduino and friends.

Is it possible to use based on this hal with for instance Arduino Ethernet?

Hi,

I finished my work on the RTnet driver - find it attached. The basics are
here and running.

Find comments in the HAL_RTNET_INSTALLATION_AND_USAGE file, as well as in
hal_rtnet.c.

I realize it is all a little messy. Maybe one day that will be better, if
RTnet and EMC2 can be integrated a little better by some one.

In the meanwhile this is my last day on this project. I'll answer
questions but it'll be less easy for me to test and change things. My
colleague'll hopefully / probably pick the rtnet work up.

Test results are expected next week, but for now we can say the module is
pretty fast :-).

Ciao,
Evert Lammerts
