Yes, I emailed him about the project and am looking forward to playing with it. In fact I got a little shop time and put together the new embedded controller and tore down a forge blower for a new portable I'm building. Maybe tomorrow I'll get more working on the EMC front. As a note, the old machine I have at the moment is a direct phase machine which cannot do step and direction. I'll go ahead and see if I can get it configured with the updated EMC, and report back with my experiences.
