A number of users on the forum are using D Rogge's "Fanuc style lathe
toolchange" patch.

There seems to be a strong opinion from them that it is a Good Thing.

I am not quite so sure. Having two such very different behaviours
feels somewhat wrong.

It is troublesome for them to keep their installations up-to-date. A
further complication is that the patch file no longer applies, as the
"index" variable in that section of code was recently changed to
"pocket_number"

The feature is enabled by a feature mask in the INI (I would prefer to
see it set by a conventional tag, perhaps
[RS274NGC]NO_LONGER_RS274NGC_ACTUALLY_A_LITTLE_BIT_FANUC )

The demand is there, and it doesn't change anything unless explicitly
enabled, so I think, on balance, it ought to be incorporated.
