I tried to split the svg image into two parts (which would show up 
better) but I new not know how and didn't get what I expected. I 
selected 1/2 the drawing and exported it to a .png file (in Inkscape) 
but I got a checkerboard background instead of just white. I don't 
recall using Inkscape before so it is a mystery to me.
