Nobody is asking LinuxCNC to _support_ RAR. The request was to allow people to attach RAR files to forum posts. I don't have any objection to anyone doing that, it does no-one any harm. But I don't think that they will get as much help as they might if they do that, because many people won't be able to uncompress their file. (I don't think I have a RAR decompressor on my Mac or my Linux machines, and I am unlikely to install one just to look at a forum poster's HAL files) -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meet PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance Requirements with EventLog Analyzer Achieve PCI DSS 3.0 Compliant Status with Out-of-the-box PCI DSS Reports Are you Audit-Ready for PCI DSS 3.0 Compliance?
