It seems you are using the new x patches in RTAI magma, in which case 
HAL_NR_FAULTS is now IPIPE_NR_FAULTS.

You need a few other changes as well to get LinuxCNC working without the legacy 
IPIPE interface.

I'm an RTAI developer and this branch is the one to use for LinuxCNC:

Avoid dev branch, it's heavily broken and needs a re-write. Use master.


Other trees will not work due to math support and other changes not compliant 
with the LinuxCNC code.
