in case this doc doesn't help.

Thanks EBo.  It may be that a fresh mobo is the fix, ISTR having HD0/SDA 
problems once before, but I would have though those bugs had been 
introduced to a can of Raid by now.  The machine itself is both old & 
just different enough to make access difficult.
