Just for S & G, I took that code, and the tool.tbl, from that machine to the toy in the shop building, That same version of LCNC, running w/o home switches, does NOT display this x only artifact in the backplot. I've poked at the options in the view menu without apparent effect. Something in the $config? Differences in homing? Obviously I've not a clue, but its annoying as can be when I am now, due to mistakes I might have seen were it not doing this, down to 30 of these trim pieces that IF no more mistakes are made, are exactly the amount I need to complete this 3 chest project. And there are yet at least 4 machineing operations I have to do to these things before I'm ready to glue them into place. I have to cut to length, cut out the back, leaving the final L shaped piece, and do at least 2 setups with a roundover tool, one useing a bearing guided cutter, and another pointed tool to break the sharp edges. > > Greetings everybody; > > > > From the blog of a canary in a coal mine: A bug report. > > > > I am running the latest 2.8.0pre1 on all my live machines as I had > > some probs with the early 2.6.x versions crashing so I switched to > > the latest, which was stable at the time, and never switched back, > > and in all this time I think this is my first real, I think I have > > found a bug, observation. > > > > In the gcode I am working on ATM, the extant display of the X axis > > is way off, high, the only X motion in this code is the width of the > > chord of a curve less than 180 degrees of arc.
