I would think that the G84 is important to users without spindle feedback or a
pulse code to start the G33.

Hello,
I can not say enough about how important tapping cycles are. One thing that
would be really handy to have is peck tapping. Currently, I am doing it by
using several G33.1 cycles of greater depth. While this seems to work ok,
there is considerable time wasted between pecks because after the G33.1
cycle ends, it does not continue to synchronize the spindle, and it does a
rapid to the starting position. Then when the next G33.1 is executed, it
must wait for the spindle to come around to the index before feed starts.
It would be REALLY handy to have a G33.1 that works like the peck drill
cycle and keeps the spindle/Z axis synchronized on both reversals as this
would allow partial retracts which would also really speed things up.
