As possessor of a couple 100+ megahertz dual trace scopes, I have found the probes that MPJA.com sells for under a $20 bill each to be serviceable and a lot more ruggedly built than the stuff tek (or anyone else I have sampled) sells. And the price is right too. Seeing a 10 ns wide spike in all its ugly glory, with the only ringing being a direct consequence of the length of the ground lead has found me a lot of logic errors since I bought the first Hitachi V-1065 25 years ago. I bought a digital sampler with similar specs 3 years back and I am still learning how to use it. The ability to see that errant spike in a full brightness capture is quite informative. And with a 7" display, it still doesn't take up the whole work table. <http://www.mpja.com/200MHz-Oscilloscope-Probe/productinfo/15087+TE> I keep at least one spare on hand. Since both scopes can take separate trigger inputs, I keep 3 probes with each one. > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >-------- Find and fix application performance issues faster with > Applications Manager Applications Manager provides deep performance > insights into multiple tiers of your business applications.
