Gschem is rather simple and that's what make it great just as C do for programming. Basically there graphical symbols with pins possible to connect together. What come out is a net list with the topology of the circuit. Basically it tell which pins are connected. What is needed is make symbols representing the pins in hal and modify one of the backend to produce a netlist linuxcnc could understand, *.hal is mostly about what pins to connect. Symbols are already there and a python backend. I am planning a few small modifications and hopefully a modification to one the gschem ordinary backends. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Attend Shape: An AT&T Tech Expo July 15-16.
