I believe the punt might be the correct term, unless inkscape can, with the page boundaries turn on (there lots of empty space to be deleted if being fed to a printer via rasterize or similar) I can't believe after all this time, that inkscape hasn't grown an output posterizer so the printed page preview can be seen, and toggled thru to make sure it will work before wasting all the paper and ink or toner. I am guessing it will take at least 4 sheets of 11x17 paper to make a usable printout. My current printer can take 11x17 if single fed thru a slot on the rear, its a brother ink squirter whose brother driver is absolutely determined to make the starter inks last at least a year. And its running at a page side a minute, claimed 22 ppm when I bought it. Yeah, dumb. And I'm pointing the finger at the mirror. Best black is maybe 2% denser than a Kodak 18% grey card, colors similarly washed out. I have got to find the time to fix the corona wire supply in my HL-3170-CDW color laser, its not afraid to use enough toner to print a good black. This is all driven by a desire to get the PID in my G0704's spindle driver optimized which it is not now by a long shot. Pgain above 2 gives a gear rattling up and down of about 400 revs at mid speed. Coupled with its making noises like its eating the bearing cages in the gear trains support bearings. May, or may not be as I can't feel any such drags turning it by hand on the tool holder. The OEM controller can only do 2250 fwd, 1100 in reverse, but a 124 volt dc supply and one of the Pico Systems PWM-SERVO amps can run it at about 2800 revs in either direction. But the whole head casting warms up about 30F, more than the spindle cartridge at 2500 for 15 minutes.
