That is another concern that I am coding into this. Losing the  
leadin-leadout is a fatal flaw for this.  The tool must be retracted 
enough to clear the thread peaks during the retrace.  For boring or 
turning, one can retrace with the tool in contact, but not for 
threading. So I don't think the patch would do me any good.
