And while I have watched the discussion as it goes by recently, I think 
I'm in the middle seat of that same boat. :-\

But I am not basing my billing hours on that since the person paying the 
bill is me.  But I am occasionally surprised to find its done the next 
morning, sometimes hours before the projected timeline.  It is however a 
usefull tool when trying to optimize code, to find that doing it that 
way needs 2 hours, while doing it this way takes 30 minutes. :)
