Another option is to use VirtualBox, run Linux as the main 
OS, and Windows as the "guest" OS, then you can have both 
running at the same time, and switch between them with one 
mouse click.  This is what I do, and it works great when 
part of your CAD/CAM workflow is in Windows, and other parts 
in Linux.  (I'm pretty sure you can go the other way round, 
at least with VMWare.)
