Greetings all;

The default CYCLE_TIME has been set at .05 seconds or 20 display updates
a second since I started this lathe rebuild/cnc.

The pi is not capable of 20 redraws a second, something in the 7 to 8 a
second at best for screen redraws.

I'm well used to the lag in the backplot by now, and although I would
love a faster rate, the pi's framebuffer can't do it.

Would there be any operational advantage to limiting the CYCLE_TIME to
something the pi can do and still leave it enough time to catch up
anything else that might be pending?

Or is there any way to speed up its display that you folks know about?
Realtime=20 would be nice...

Thanks.
