There is still a minor issue with the dependencies when you are packaging. In debian/control.bottom.in this line has been added to Recommends: python-gst-1.0 | python-gst0.10, Depending on the distribution python-gst-1.0 and python-gst0.10 is also listed as Depends This part is related to that issue. https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/2.8/debian/configure#L149-L190 Is it also possible to clean up some of this?
