I wanted to report that the version of LinuxCNC present at
http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/dists/buster/master-rtpreempt/binary-armhf/

with the Raspberry PI 4 (2gb and 4gb) shows this error message:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ halrun
halcmd: loadrt hal_pi_gpio
Note: Using POSIX realtime
unrecognized Raspberry revision, see /proc/cpuinfo
hal_pi_gpio: rtapi_app_main: Invalid argument (-22)
<stdin>:1: waitpid failed /usr/bin/rtapi_app hal_pi_gpio
<stdin>:1: /usr/bin/rtapi_app exited without becoming ready
<stdin>:1: insmod for hal_pi_gpio failed, returned -1
halcmd: Note: Using POSIX realtime


Also, the .zip file at
https://www.linuxcnc.org/iso/linuxcnc-2.8.0-pi4.zip

contains 2 identical files with the name:

1)      2020-09-08-linuxcnc-2.8.0-pi4.img
2)      linuxcnc-2.8.0-pi4.img

Instead, in this version the hal_pi_gpio module works correctly.
