True. Perhaps this is the time to added a machine specific tool-tbl.conf
That defines each field's purpose? I personally don't find it as useful as
it could be with additional fields that could better describe the tool. But
that would mean also an editor to fix the whole tool-tbl if the instant user
wants to define a new field.
Just thinking out loud...
