But that means this code does not (maybe even cannot) have copyright. It is also unclear if it is an original work or a copy from other's code that lacks proper attribution.
How can we distinguish the parts when they get mingled and we can't properly trace the /real/ origins? This can create an untenable and dangerous situation very fast.
